The Fah'fah'n*fah are a hydrogen-breathing race which occupies an area of space near the Terran Canaan colonies. They are considered less approachable by oxy-life than the Zang, but can still be negotiated with.[1] A Galactic Institute of Migration delegation, which included the Thennanin Kault and a number of Terrans, once held negotiations with the Fah'fahn*fah in the Poul-Kren subquadrant, near the region of space which EarthClan calls the Orion sector.[2]
